• Question about after market pop bumper bracket

I am in the process of rebuilding old Stern pops on my F2K. I got the Pinball Life version of the plastic bracket. It is about 1/8” shorter than the original equipment (see picture)

It appears the newer plywood is a little thinner than the stuff used in my machine? In any case I am worried that this is going to alter the function or increase playfield wear around the pops. Has anyone here had any problems with the shorter bracket? Thank you for any direction you can give here.

The real question is "What the heck did you do to that orange?".

It's called 'zest' if I am not mistaken where you skim the skin of an
orange or lemon for seasoning... https://www.culinaryhill.com/how-to-zest-a-lemon/
Not much use for pinball unless you like various drinks when you play.

I have one NOS 545-5100-WH pop frame plastic left, but it looks to me
that the replacement one has a slightly thicker base, but not so much
the cylinder part that fits in the hole. Are the two cylinders different in length? If not, then use the new black one...unless you want to buy
    my last white one: https://www.flippers.com/catalog/product_info.php/thumper-bumper-housingwhite-p-9198
No picutre I'm afraid, but we can email you one if you are interested in the plastic.
However I think the black one will work for you.

The cylinder is a different length - I think I will take yours. Thanks again for the help
