• using a stern 7 digit glass in a williams taxi (jackpot)

I am out of 7 digit glasses and I do not want to have to try to buy one.
I was thinking of simply removing the glass from a Stern display and mounting it to the board for the jackpot in Taxi. Does anyone know if this is compatible?

    Thanks,

    Craig

As long as the original TAXI Jackpot was Numeric only I see no reason
not to use the Stern 7-digit display.

Forgot to mention, you may have the tube nipple to deal with on the
Stern display. If so, it may mean rerouting some of the lines on the PCB
if you have to drill out a hole for the nipple...

Thanks so much John. Yeah I remember having to do that back in the day. I'll do that.

You can also use any Algar to 11 Road Kings 7 digit numeric display. Identical. And if you only have one of the old pcbs you might not need to cut holes.
