Very sad what has become of the site with all these advertising and scam posts.

90s. Not much we can do about the SPAM.
It is odd that no other active or semi-active Usenet site I monitor gets this crap. Really odd.
If anyone wants to dig around be my guest. Of course regular Usenet has
no moderation possible, not sure if it is desirable or even possible to change this to a moderated Usenet group.

Glad you still monitor this, and I've always enjoyed your input. Super helpful!
On that vein... and back to pinball... A friend gave me an Allied Leisure "Take Five". It wasn't working but I said I'd give it a go. It would light up, but not start a game. I used your instruction sheets to Recap and build the 5V and got it working for a few games. Probably 15. Voltages seemed good and play was promising.
I turned it off satisfied that it was fixed and just needed adjusting. Next time I turned it on, it lit up, but was stuck in "Tilt" mode.
I reseated all the chips on the board and reinserted all the connectors several times too.
Any ideas? Or would I need to send you the controller board for repairs?
Thanks!

Thanks!Hang in a bit, I hope to release my "Get-Well" kit for ALI MPU's in the
next month. Just doing the programming right now, I'm got a friend who
will code the GAL I am using and we hope to have this finished real
soon. Already have the PCBs made, it is just the GALs that need the work done now.
