Folks, I have a tough bonus count issue that happens randomly. When counting the end of ball bonus it occasionally skips the final 5000 (Royal Flush) bonus. The yellow arrow does not light when this happens. I can watch and hear the I relay as it quickly skips past the final bonus count. I have checked, cleaned and adjusted the I unit relay, 7B, 8B in the sequence bank. I ran some tests and have a really big clue! I started a 4 player game and knocked down all targets and drained the ball. I have the game in 5 ball mode. The 1000 through 4000 always score properly...BUT...player one did not score the final 5000 points for all 5 balls, player two scored the 5000 points once out of the 5 balls. Players 3 and 4 scored the 5000 points on all 5 balls! I ran this test twice with the same results. The only difference was the ball number player 2 scored once in the 5 balls. I think the first test it scored on ball 2 and the 2nd test it scored on ball 3. Has anyone ever had to fix this issue? Im thinking player unit but am looking to pinpoint this from someone who has experienced this.
    Thanks,
    Todd

I ended up fixing this problem and will document it here with the hope it may help someone else. I started by going through the entire player unit, cleaning all switches, cleaning and polishing rivets and that did not correct the issue. So I came back here and did more searching and found another thread where the magnificent KERRY IMMING posted this ''The BONUS UNIT coil is I. If you find it on the schematics and trace to the right it should hit a ZERO POSITION switch on the BONUS UNIT. That switch opens at zero to stop the BONUS UNIT from advancing. Clean/Adjust that switch.'' I did not know about the zero position switch in this relay. So I removed the I relay from under the playfield and noticed a set of switches on either side of the unit. One of the switches was working correctly while the other was slightly off. So I bent the switch to match the same amount of steps of the unit being closed before it opened as it was doing on the other side and that corrected my issue. I play tested it for about 10 games and it now works and scores perfectly. Another fix by the wonderful KERRY IMMING!
