So a friend calls me regarding his Williams Sky Lab.
He turned it on before I got there, then turned it off.
When I got there, it would not turn on. Grrrr.
I opened it up and was looking around. I showed
him the plumb bob and demonstrated it. A minute
later, out of the blue, the machine powered up... WTF??!
Turned it off and it would not turn back on... Really?
Saw something on the cabinet floor I'd never seen before
labeled the "Kickoff Switch". Just what the heck it THAT?
Could it be causing this problem? Anything else I should
look into? Other than a séance or poltergeist...
Any and all observations or suggestions welcome.
Ron Kral
PS: BTW, the problem he called about was a weak
flipper which turned out to be a simple broken wire.

Yes, the Kickoff Switch turns off the LOCK relay, which is then
reactivated by the Left Flipper Button switch. If this doesn't turn it
back on, check the Kickoff Switch isn't making poor contact...
