Been working through a gottlieb high hand and got one weird problem that is stumping me. Game plays great but when the pop bumper is hit simultaneously with drop targets it resets the score reels and goes back to ball one, Flippers die and all scoring dies to till ball drains and restarts. Drop targets do not reset but score reels do and so does ball count. Pop bumper by itself does not reset the game nor does hitting multiple drop targets. Or seemingly any other combination. Only happens when pop bumper and drop targets are hit close together. Does not seem to matter what ball it’s on or anything. So if the ball is hitting the pop bumper into the drop targets up top it resets the game. In actual gameplay, it happens maybe 1/4 the time. But I can easily make it happen with glass off. Any help or tips would be appreciated. Looked on the web and can’t seem to find anything. Game seems to fully work other than this

Have you tried banging on the playfield to replicate the pop bumper vibrations? If the Start (S) relay switch(es) were triggered by the vibrations it would cause a game reset.

However, I'm not sure how that would explain the drop target tie-in.
