I have my F2K booting reliably and am now hunting gremlins. The ball launch is launching 2 balls in rapid succession. The trough switches seem to be working in the switch test. Is this a switch adjustment problem? Thanks for any help you can give here.

Hello Dan.
The times that I have seen issues like this, there are two causes:
1) Too many pinballs
2) Switch problem - locked closed.
An open switch usually prevents it from starting, because it thinks a pinball is missing.
When you do a switch test, remove the pinballs. Do any switches show as closed?
There may also be a switch matrix issue, but this is a good place to start.

Most F2K ball issues are related to the length/adjustment of the trough
ball switch trip wires. Take the apron off and manually push the balls around - see if you can get one ball to keep two switches closed.
I suspect that will be easy.
Bend the end or cut off of the ball switch wire to fix, do tiny
adjustments as you don't need much change from the current setup!
