• Pre-Alpha

With the odd things I'm seeing happening lately, I figured it's time to bite the bullet and upgrade to the pre-alpha. However, when I go to the page, I'm not seeing obe for the Pi. Am I in the wrong area?

I think the mys112a47_p32.zip is for the Pi.

I'll just offer you this advice - while I know exactly how it is to think you want the 'new' features... once you go pre-alpha, you get stuck in the mix of upgrading whenever theres a new build, living with the certain bugs that there may or may not be involved, and ... if I could go back I'd stay on a46.

YES, theres a marquee text thing that allows for text to dance across the menus/screen. (But RCS' Scrollz mod gives this function thru MPL...) Yes, theres the ability to set how many new msg posts your new users get to see at apply... yes, theres 132c ANSI -

But its also a hassle to always be installing the new builds. Think it thru. A46 is great, and fully baked. Reliable. Secure. Etc...

It's not a matter of new features. I was/am running across some strangeness that I thought and in one case heard that the prealpha would fix.

Occasionally, messages have random blank lines in them. Like several. I seem to remember asking about this a while back, and someone said the pre-alpga fixed that.

A couple of days ago, I was replying to a message, and accidentally hit Save when I meant to quote. When I tried to edit the message, I got dumped out of mystic.

When I pulled up the Help screen while reading a message, to remind myself
how to save it to a text file, when I tried to exit the Help scteen, I got dumped out of the BBS.

And finally, after I add a oneliner on rcs1line, It shows the onelinersrs and no menu. Pressing any Key dumps me out of the BBS.
