Been a long few days here. I'm still working from home but I think there may be movement towards asking us to come in a bit more in the coming weeks. My end of the country still has higher Covid rates than in other areas of New Zealand so I am not overly keen but if I must I'll go in but stick to wearing a mask for now.

My risk appetite is low as I have elderly parents I may need to visit / support again over the coming months as their health declines. There's few family near them so I am more at the front lines of care / response than others living further away than I, and that's fine.

At work our manager of 10 years abruptly left his role just before Easter. Our team found out one day before he left. We're now getting a new interim manager for 9 months who will develop new strategic directions for our team which may well lead to a restructure although no one is saying that yet. So understandably I and my fellow team members are all a bit nervous as to what is to come. Yet there's nothing I can really do so have to roll with the process and see where things end up.

Have been watching quite a few 80s movies on a free streaming service called Tubi which I have been enjoying. Some good, some not so good. After a day in front of the PC at home working I tend to want to get away from the same desk I would do BBSing at and opt for some tube :)

Figured I'd better post something to confirm I have not left with Elvis :)

Same here...but have been getting into the old Westerns (especially speghetti<sp>)
on You Tube. Pluto TV is also another one I like to use.

Filmrise has a whole Westerns channel that's worth a look.

Snap Pluto TV here too... was using it to watch some Star Trek for a while as they were the only place I could find that were streaming the new Discovery show outside the USA for a time.

Love them! I have had Britbox the past couple of years and their British TV selection is better than what Britbox has...minus the stop sets.

Will have to check them out! Was born in the early 60's...so didn't catch many of
these Westerns because of my age. Nothing like seeing the actors dressed in dusters
in Arizona in the summertime. ;) (Used to live on the Colorado River in Arizona for many years and a pair of cutoffs/t-shirt was usually worn year round.)

    Thanx for the information.

Used to watch Mission: Impossible on there...but they keep running the 1st 3 seasons over & over. Started watching The Outer Limits (from the 60's) on there as well. Heard they've also started running the Stargate series on there.

In terms of Star Trek...seems they only run the same TNG episodes over & over. As
for Discovery...still have to pay to see it here...while many other places get it
    on places like Pluto.

I think I've got every StarGate save universe on disc here somewhere..

I have a problem with streaming services... definitely in so far as I'm not seeing value for money in any of them.. you get a few things worth watching
and the rest is like The Boss says, 57 channels and nothing on. I'm
certainly not going to sign up to 20000 different services for 2/3 of bugger all on each one...
