I would usually agree with you...but it would take many
hours to print off each individual part. Thought about

Why does a tablet holder need to be complicated? How about a
simple weighted board with a groove? The tablet rests at a bit
of an angle in the groove as it "leans back" to the upper edge
of the groove behind it? For a viewing purpose such as to
watch a film, that should be enough. For tapping purposes,
modify the design into an L-shape where the back of the tablet
has something more confident to lean against, and have the base
heavier than the table itself.
Any carpenter or woodworker could whip up something like that
fairly easily.
