Since we have cut over to the new NET 4 HUB the following nodes have not polled to collect HELD traffic for them or have not been able to be reached if set to CRASH traffic.

Do you run one of these systems or know someone who does?

Do you know if any of these systems have closed down or could be on auto/zombie mode?

Please drop me an email or post a reply to this thread. Thanks for your help.

Nodes in NET 4 should be polling net4.fsxnet.nz:24560 to collect traffic.

Here's the list, in most cases there's 9+ days of packets being held at the HUB per node... essentially no contact from the node since cutover.

His BBS might be on autopilot for now and he may not realize he's not picking up fsxnet.. maybe he'll be in touch closer to the closing date.

It was a bit of a suprise to me, as he's put so much effort into his BBS, it's one of the best synchronet bbses in my opinion, I thought it might have been an april fools to start with, but no, it's not.

REALLY? ConChaos is so awesome and well built - man... I dial it semi-frequently, but will make sure to doso ASAP. Someone has to save ConChaos - its a staple board man... has a good user base, too, IIRC!

I can confirm it hasn't been answering the past few days (when this topic came up, I've tried connecting.

I hope he's doing ok too, as it doesn't seem like much of anything "real life" related could really get in the way of this hobby.. unless it's something drastic, like having to up and move on short notice, or bad health or something in those lines (which I wouldn't wish on anyone).

If one has their system setup right, you can leave it on autopilot for months without issue. Take care of your other business, and come back to it when time permits.

I did, the entire list - but I'm an idiot. I didn't realize it was because of a network CHANGE; I just thought they weren't polling. So, suffice to say I didn't include the new HUB4 address; stupid. At least all online boards in the list got an email with info to check on fsxNet. :/
