I'll be a bit hit and miss over the coming week or so. My mum is moving into rest home care so I'm traveling to visit my parents and help with the settling in. Will be away around two weeks at this stage.

Thanks, yes it's been an up/down time really since start of 2021 and the last 8-9 months have got a lot harder in terms of care/need... so it's all for the best but emotionally a bloody hard time for all :(

She went in y/day and from what I can tell from family in attendance it went as smooth as it could. My brother who has been visiting from the USA has been helping a lot with the pending move etc. in the last few weeks. He's going home in 48 hours and I'll be staying with my Dad for about 10 days to help him (and my mum) as they settle into the new normal.
