then it was back in the 70's and 80's. It's here and we have to change before it's to late. Waiting is not a option.

We also had snow-storms back then, but not every year, just like now.

I have read how it is different in the Artic and Antartic, which is some
cause for concern, are there certainly seem to be more fires out in the
western US, but most people who claim it is "a lot different" are
talking about wherever they have been living and, for most people, I don't think they are correct.

I am not using any recollection to take sides here. I was born in the 1960's, I saw the weather conditiions in the 70's and from what it is today. I am telling you it's not right.

Because I lived through them, from the big ones in 1977-79 through the last
one a couple of Winters ago. We have not had them every year in my
location in my lifetime (50+ years). Some Winters we might actually get 2 or even 3, but there will be other Winters where we get snow but never enough to call it a "storm."

In the past 12 years, we've had at least 2 summers where the official temperature never hit 90F (once, sometime since 2010) or only did once
(2009). I don't remember that EVER happening when I was younger. I remember having weeks at a time where it was 90F+ every afternoon.

So, when someone my age or older claims it is "hotter than it's ever been" simply based on their personal experience, I wonder if they were in a coma
for several years during the 1980s, 90s, 2000s.
